As Bishop of the Diocese of San Jose, and on behalf of Archbishop Niederauer, Bishop Blaire, Bishop Cordileone, and Bishop Garcia, I would like to welcome you to the Faith Formation Conference 2011. This year, the theme of the Conference is Go! Glorify the Lord by your Life!—a theme that highlights the new prayer text from the dismissal rite of the Third Edition of the Roman Missal. I pray that in these days, you will find the inspiration you most need to glorify the Lord by your life and fulfill our mission of witnessing to Jesus’ presence with our words and actions.
Como Obispo de la Diócesis de San José, y en nombre del Arzobispo Niederauer, el Obispo Blaire, el Obispo Cordileone, y el Obispo García. Les damos la más cordial bienvenida a la Conferencia de Formación en la Fe de este 2011. El Tema de la Conferencia este año es. ¡Vayan Glorifiquen a Dios con su Vida! —Un Tema que hace énfasis en la próxima oración del rito de despedida de la Tercera Edición del Misal Romano. Hago oración para que durante estos días ustedes encuentren la motivación necesaria para glorificar al Señor por medio de su vida y que nuestra misión sea plena para poder ser testigos de la presencia de Jesús con nuestras palabras y acciones.
