Läureen Aguayo is a first generation Mexican-American. She received certification in Youth Ministry and Catechetical Training in 1999. She is a graduate from the Pastoral School of Ministry 2004 through the Oakland Diocese, and is currently a Franciscan School of Theology in Berkeley. She provides ongoing Faith Formation to English and Spanish Catechists, multi-faceted retreats for children/youth/adults, RCIA Groups, Parish Leadership. She has also been a speaker for the Fresno Diocese Congress. She was one of the recipients of the 2009 National Federation of Catholic Youth Ministry's "Companions on the Journey" Award. Läureen Aguayo es de primer generacion Mexico-Americana. Recibio un certificado en Ministerios Juveniles y Entrenamiento Catequetico en 1999. En el 2004 se graduo del la Escuela de Ministerios Pastorales en la Diocesis de Oakland, y va a la Escuela Franciscana de Teologia en Berkeley. Promeve formacion de fe basica catequetica en Ingles y Español, retiros de multi-facetas para niños/jovenes/adultos, Grupos de RICA, Liderazgo Parroquial en Monterey, Fresno, Stockton e Oakland Diócesis. Además, conferencista en Congresos de la Diócesis de Fresno con talleres en Ingles e Español para jóvenes e adultos. Fue una de los recipientes de estimado premio “Compañeros en le Jornada” en 2009 del la Federación Nacional de Ministros Juveniles Católicos.
WORKSHOPS1-02 Where There is Hope Where do young people find hope? How can we inspire people to hope? Together, my hope will be to discuss the needs of our youth and more importantly how each of us can have a direct link in providing opportunities for hope in world filled with darkness.
