We will explore what actually happens in our “prayer time”, like what do we expect to happen, what do we expect from God, does our prayer time energize us for our ministry, why sometimes do we avoid praying all together? Sr. Rebecca Shinas, OP, Dominican Sister of Mission San Jose, is a composer, prayer leader, storyteller and singer. Her many presentations on THE JOY of PRAYER and original music reaches into our hearts and allows us to know and feel ourselves loved and held by our compassionate and loving God. Rebecca is the Adult Spiritual Formation coordinator at St. Simon Parish in Los Altos, CA., She is a spiritual director and enjoys the personal and communal sharing of God experiences.
