6-02 Young Adult Ministry Symposium:  Young Adults and Faith, What Does That Look Like?

Steve Do and Rubén Solorio, Moderators

For: Leaders in Young Adult Ministry, Liturgy, Social Ministry, Catechetical Ministry, Various Ethnic Communities, Seminarians, Priests, and Social Service Agencies

There has been a growing interest within the Church in the area of young adult ministry because studies are showing that a large percentage of young adult Catholics are disengaged. The Diocese of San Jose, among many others across the country, recognizes this challenge and developed a mission for Young Adult Ministry: to engage young adults in the life of the Catholic faith. This symposium is a dynamic gathering of young adults and ministry leaders who are interested in having a conversation about not just how young adults are engaged in their faith but equally important, how the Church engages them along their journey. In addition, there will be panelists representing young adult leaders from various communities and ministries who will share their stories about how and why they remain engaged in their faith.
