WORKSHOPS

5-03 Real Presence in the Eucharist

Most Catholics not only believe in the real presence in the Eucharist but experience the Risen Christ when they participate in the Mass.  When it comes to explaining how it is possible that Christ is present but not seen or tasted or felt, many people are at a loss.  This session will explain what theologians mean when they speak of "transubstantiation" as well as what the real presence of Christ means for Catholics today.
