WORKSHOPS3-13 Exorcism and the Catholic Church in the 21st Century Fr. Thomas will explore the theology of the cross and resurrection of Jesus and the biblical citations of salvation history. Considering the genesis of new emphasis on the Rite of Exorcism, he will point out the pastoral applications on church teaching and the reality of intelligent evil. He will discuss the state of current global culture around this matter.

Fr. Gary Thomas, ordained for the Diocese of San Jose in 1983, is the current pastor of Sacred Heart Church in Saratoga. He is the exorcist for the diocese, trained in Rome.
