This workshop will explore the principles of catechesis in the catechumenate, examine the process of catechesis through the steps and stages of the Rite, and offer some models for catechists involved in the Rite of Christian Initiaton of Adults.

This workshop will explore the distinctions between Part I and Part II of the Rite and the implications for pastoral practice in our parishes. We will discuss practical issues including the distinctions between catechumens and candidates, children’s initation and the adult process, and special circumstances.
